Job Title: Banksman / Traffic Marshall

Location: Bromsgrove Central, Birmingham

Duration: 3-4 Month Project

Start Date: 3rd November

Hours: 08:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday

Rate: £17.00 p/h

Job Overview:

Time Recruitment Solutions are currently working with a well established fit out company who due to a new project are seeking a reliable and experienced Banksman / Traffic Marshall to support a construction project in Bromsgrove Central. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing vehicle movements on-site, ensuring the safety of pedestrians and workers, and maintaining clear communication with drivers and site personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct and control the movement of vehicles and plant on site.
Ensure safe access and egress for deliveries and site traffic.
Communicate effectively with drivers and site operatives.
Monitor and manage pedestrian routes and safety zones.
Maintain clear and safe working areas.
Report any safety concerns or incidents to the Site Manager.
Assist with general site duties as required.

Requirements:

Valid Traffic Marshall / Banksman certification.
CSCS card (preferred but not always essential).
Previous experience in a similar role on construction sites.
Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to remain alert and focused in a busy environment.
