Introduction

We're looking for a Construction Manager to join our team in Basingstoke. In this role, you'll lead and deliver a variety of projects from power cable installations and diversions to new primary substations (up to 132kV) and refurbishment works. You'll take charge of the pre-construction phase, shape working methodologies, and keep projects on track with smart spend control.

What will I be doing?

Managing projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.
Carrying out site visits, chairing kick-off meetings, and reporting on progress.
Working closely with project managers and stakeholders to meet deadlines.
Driving delivery in line with agreed execution plans.
Leading by example and building strong, collaborative relationships with clients.

What do I need to succeed?

A strong background in the power industry, with both technical and hands-on experience.
NEC 3 contract knowledge, plus solid planning and programming ability.
Experience in substations, project management, and HV electrical/civils.
Full UK driving licence (NRWSA experience essential).
