We’re working with a well-established building services contractor in Warrington to find an experienced Electrical Estimator. This is a full-time, permanent role suited to someone who can interpret technical drawings, prepare detailed cost estimates, and support the bid process from initial enquiry to final submission.

You’ll be joining a collaborative pre-construction team in Warrington, with access to experienced operational leads and clear opportunities for long-term development.

What You’ll Be Doing

Producing accurate electrical estimates and cost breakdowns for a variety of M&E projects

*

Reviewing specifications, drawings, and tender documentation

*

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to gather competitive quotations

*

Identifying risks, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities

*

Collaborating with mechanical estimators and the wider pre-construction team

*

Supporting tender submissions and attending meetings as required

*

Keeping organised records to support pricing strategies and project handovers

Skills & Experience Required

*

Experience as an Electrical Estimator in the M&E or building services industry

*

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and industry regulations

*

Proficiency in reading drawings and specifications

*

Experience with estimation software and Microsoft Excel

*

Good commercial judgement and attention to detail

*

Clear communicator with a proactive mindset

*

Relevant electrical qualifications or trade background (preferred)

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 depending on experience
