Project Manager – EV Charging & Retail Fit-Out Projects (Forecourt Experience Preferred)

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + Company Car + Benefits

Our client is a rapidly expanding principal contractor specialising in the installation of EV charging stations within existing petrol forecourts, alongside shop fit-out and refurbishment works. With a strong pipeline of live projects across the UK, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing delivery team.
 
As Project Manager, you will oversee multiple fast-paced projects, typically running on 12-week programmes, ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role involves close coordination with clients, internal teams, and site management to drive successful project outcomes.
 
Responsibilities:

Manage the delivery of EV charging and shop fit-out projects nationwide.
Plan and control all project phases from pre-start to handover.
Lead and support Site Managers and ensure compliance with HSEQ standards.
Monitor budgets, schedules, and procurement to achieve project goals.
Liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships. Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction, retail fit-out, or forecourt environments.
PFS (Petrol Forecourt Safety) Accreditation – essential.
Strong commercial awareness and programme management experience.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Willingness to travel and stay away as required (projects allocated as close to home as possible).
Full UK driving licence. Package:

£60,000 – £70,000 per annum (DOE)
