One of the UK’s leading property services companies is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in the commercial delivery of a high-profile Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) programme in partnership with Sanctuary Housing.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a top-tier contractor known for delivering high-impact retrofit, energy efficiency, and planned refurbishment schemes across the UK.
The Project:

Initial Phase: £4m SHDF retrofit project in CB6, Cambridgeshire, running for approx. 9 months
*
Scope: External Wall Insulation (EWI), Photovoltaic (Solar PV) Installations, and Air Source Heat Pumps – all on occupied homes
*
Next Phase: £8m follow-on programme across Cambridgeshire, running into 2026–2027
*
Long-term, secure pipeline of works with a major housing association client
The Role:
As Project Quantity Surveyor, you’ll lead on all commercial aspects of the schemes — managing subcontractor packages, cost reporting, variations, and supporting strong financial delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
You’ll work closely with delivery teams, the client (Sanctuary Housing), and internal stakeholders to ensure these critical decarbonisation works are delivered efficiently, safely, and within budget.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Strong background in Social Housing refurbishments, planned works, or retrofit
✅ SHDF or energy efficiency retrofit experience is a bonus – but not essential
✅ Solid commercial management skills from pre-construction through to final account
✅ Confident working in live, resident-occupied environments
