A leading construction consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on major construction projects across the UK and Ireland, including high-profile public sector schemes. You will collaborate with experienced construction professionals and contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale developments.
Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:

Oversee and manage costs on large-scale construction projects across the UK and Ireland.
*
Deliver cost management services from pre-construction through to completion.
*
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
*
Supervise and support junior team members.
*
Report directly to senior management.
*
Lead on cost control, procurement, and contract administration duties (JCT/NEC).
*
Contribute to project decision-making and client communication.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:

8–10 years’ experience in the construction sector, ideally in a client-side or consultancy environment.
*
A degree in a construction-related discipline, ideally Quantity Surveying.
*
MRICS Chartered Status (or working towards it).
*
A proven track record of delivering cost management services on high-value schemes.
*
Strong communication and report-writing skills.
*
Experience working within a multi-disciplinary design team in a client-facing role.
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and B/Q software such as Q-Script (or equivalent).
*
Competence in contract administration under JCT and NEC forms of contract.
