We have an exciting new opportunity on offer, here at Blueprint Recruitment, for a seasoned Architectural Technician to join a well-established architecture firm, in a permanent position. Within this position, you will be expected to work on a hybrid basis, working 3 days a week on-site, from our client's Manchester office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on, and develop, a variety of architectural projects, with a focus on technical science buildings.

-Competitive salary of £35,000-£60,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:

-Create concise technical architecture drawings and specifications for a variety of projects, throughout all project stages.

-Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consisting of engineers, contractors, clients, and designers to ensure that all designs follow the project specifications.

-Conduct quality assurance, compliance, and design reviews to ensure that all work is alignment with current regulations and policies.

-Assemble project schedules, visualisations, and documentation, allowing for efficient planning and construction to take place.

-Locate potential design risks, concerns and challenges and suggest solutions and rectifications, whilst supporting value engineering.

-Conduct site visits and meetings to ensure the project is aligned with the plans and specifications, whilst also coordinating with stakeholders.

Requirements:

-Previous experience as an Architectural Technician, Senior or Intermediate Architect, or a similar role, within a design or consultancy field.

-Solid technical background, with an understanding of software tools, such as Revit, CAD, and/or BIM, with a strong understanding of drawing principles.

-Strong understanding of current building regulations, detailing, and construction methods and strategies.

-Effective communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to build and maintain rapport with engineers, contractors, and clients.

-Sound organisation skills, with a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage several concurrent projects
