We’re working with a growing refurbishment contractor with a strong pipeline of projects across the South. They’re now seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a live healthcare refurbishment project based in Portsmouth.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Construction Director, you’ll take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a healthcare refurbishment project, managing programme, quality, and budget while ensuring compliance with all health & safety requirements.
You’ll have a Site Manager reporting into you and will liaise closely with the client, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full project lifecycle from pre-start through to handover.

Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project targets are achieved.

Drive progress meetings and report directly to the Construction Director.
*
Ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards.
*
Monitor project costs, quality, and health & safety performance.
*
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
About You
You’ll be a confident and organised Project Manager with a strong background in fit-out and refurbishment, ideally within the healthcare or public sector environment.
We’re looking for:

Proven experience delivering refurbishment or fit-out projects up to £2m+.
*
Background working for a main contractor or specialist refurbishment business.
*
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
*
Strong understanding of health & safety and quality control.
*
SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid (essential)
