Senior Quantity Surveyor
A leading UK-based construction consultancy is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team delivering a major commercial project in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with solid post-graduate experience to become part of a co-located team, working on the successful delivery of a high-profile commercial scheme.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be based full-time on site, working alongside client-side stakeholders in a collaborative environment. In addition to leading on the primary commercial project, you will also provide support across other ongoing commissions within the region. This role is ideal for a proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor who can operate independently while contributing to wider project goals.
This is a long-term Senior Quantity Surveyor opportunity with a respected consultancy known for delivering complex commercial and infrastructure projects across the UK. The team offers a professional and supportive working environment with clear scope for development.
Responsibilities:
Full post-contract commercial management on a large-scale commercial development.
Supporting the delivery of additional projects across the consultancy's wider portfolio.
Independent delivery of cost reporting, forecasting, and contract administration.
Day-to-day collaboration with project teams in a co-located client office.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal procedures.
Supporting junior staff and assisting in team development where required.Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years' post-graduate Quantity Surveying experience.
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a similar discipline.
Ideally MRICS or actively working towards chartership.
NEC contract experience is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident working independently and taking ownership of tasks.
