Senior Cost Manager
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Cityscape Recruitment is working with an independent London construction consultancy specialising in the Residential sector to recruit a Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to the team.
The business has an excellent reputation and is working with blue chip developer clients in Build to Rent, Student Accommodation, Later Living, Private Resi and Major Regeneration projects.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The duties of the role will include:
* Conduct feasibility studies and write procurement reports.
* Managing estimating and cost planning activities, and presenting the final cost plan.
* Managing the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation are performed effectively.
* Production of monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the client.
* Ensuring final accounts are negotiated and agreed.
* Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates should be MRICS qualified with at least 5 years’ Quantity Surveying experience in a cost consultancy environment. Experience of leading new build projects at all stages in the Residential sector is ideal
