The Company

Our client is a leading £200m turnover M&E Building Services Contractor delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical projects up to £50m M&E value. Operating across the residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors, they have built a strong reputation for technical delivery, innovation, and long-term client relationships.

The Role

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of large-scale M&E schemes from Stage 4 design through to completion. Working closely with the Project Manager and design team, you'll ensure projects meet technical, quality, and programme targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate electrical engineering works from design development (Stage 4) to installation and commissioning.

Liaise with consultants, clients, and internal teams to ensure design intent and compliance.

Oversee subcontractor performance, QA processes, and technical documentation.

Support value engineering, procurement, and design review processes.

Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met across all works.

Requirements:

Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering or time-served background.

Proven experience delivering large M&E projects from Stage 4 design onward.

Strong understanding of building services coordination, commissioning, and technical delivery.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Previous experience with Tier 1 or major M&E contractors advantageous
