A leading geotechnical and civil engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Geotechnical Estimator to join their regional team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in securing a steady pipeline of profitable and technically challenging projects across the UK.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry contacts to secure new business opportunities. You'll prepare accurate and competitive estimates, ensuring projects are deliverable, profitable, and aligned with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and sustain relationships with clients and subcontractors to identify and secure new work.
Review tender documentation, interpret technical and commercial requirements, and prepare detailed cost estimates.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop compliant and competitive proposals.
Apply knowledge of different contract conditions within the site investigation industry.
Manage multiple tenders simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Requirements
Proven background within the site investigation industry (essential).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to process large volumes of information quickly.
Confident working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of common contract conditions used in the industry.
Full UK Driving Licence required.
