Site Manager – Shopfitting & Carpentry
All over UK | £270 – £300 per day
Temp to Permanent Position

About Us:
We are a well-established and growing shopfitting company working with leading retail, hospitality, and commercial brands across the South West and beyond. With a reputation for quality craftsmanship and timely project delivery, we're now looking to strengthen our team with a reliable and experienced Site Manager.

The Role:
Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for running fit-out projects from start to finish, managing on-site teams, and ensuring work is completed to the highest standards – safely, on time, and on budget. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong carpentry background and a "lead by example" approach.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee day-to-day site operations and sub-contractors

* Coordinate materials, trades, and site logistics

* Interpret drawings and plans to ensure correct execution

* Maintain health & safety compliance on site

* Liaise with clients, contracts managers, and head office

* Deliver high-quality carpentry and finishing work when required

Requirements:

* Proven experience in shopfitting and carpentry

* Previous role as a Foreman or Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects

* Strong organisational and leadership skills

* Valid CSCS card, SSSTS or SMSTS, and First Aid

* Full UK driving licence

* Own tools and PPE (for freelance roles)
