Senior Quantity Surveyor – Essex / Colchester
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + package

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing specialist sub-contractor based in Essex. This is a key role within a business experiencing sustained growth and offering genuine career progression.

The company operates across multiple sectors including residential, commercial, and education, working with leading tier one main contractors. They have ambitious expansion plans and recently secured several high-value projects across London and the South East.

Role Overview:

Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager.

*

Based at the Colchester office (5 days per week) with occasional site visits – flexibility for candidates living further afield.

*

Managing multiple projects with package values ranging from £100k – £1.5m.

*

Overseeing procurement, valuations, variations, and final accounts.

*

Working as the primary QS within a dynamic and fast-paced commercial team.

Requirements:

*

Experience with a main contractor or sub-contractor background.

*

Interiors or drylining experience advantageous but not essential.

*

Strong commercial and contractual knowledge (JCT/NEC).

*

Ability to manage workload independently and contribute to company growth.
