Contract Manager – Roofing & Cladding (Commercial Projects)

Our client, a well-established roofing and cladding contractor, is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join their growing team based in Renfrew, serving projects across the Glasgow and West of Scotland region.

The business delivers high-quality roofing and cladding solutions within the commercial sector, including new build and refurbishment projects across schools, hospitals, and public sector developments. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute and delivery-focused professional to take ownership of key projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Role Overview

The Contract Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with clients, site teams, and subcontractors, providing leadership and commercial oversight throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the full delivery of roofing and cladding projects within the commercial sector.

* Oversee project planning, procurement, and coordination of site activities.

* Maintain strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact throughout each project.

* Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety standards, and contract requirements.

* Monitor project performance, budgets, and progress against programme.

* Work collaboratively with internal teams including design, commercial, and site management.

* Support tender reviews, risk assessments, and handover documentation.

Candidate Requirements

* Proven experience as a Contract Manager within the roofing, cladding, or building envelope sector.

* Strong understanding of commercial construction, ideally within schools, hospitals, and public sector environments.

* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently across different stages.

* Sound commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

* Full UK driving licence essential.
