Our client, a growing construction-based business, are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to join their thriving team based near Ipswich.

The successful applicant will be rewarded with extensive benefits, a very competitive salary, and the opportunity to gain further knowledge in the industry with a fixed term contract – with the potential to lead to a permanent position (although not guaranteed).

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinating Health and safety measures

* Working with clients in terms of project delivery

* Guiding and supporting H&S regulations

* Writing risk assessments

* Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures

* Liaising with contractors and stakeholders

* Liaising with Clients and suppliers to obtain quotes, prepare invoicing and monitor timesheets.

Skills & Experience Required:

* Proven H&S experience gained within the construction industry

* Knowledge of construction industry databases.

* Great report writing skills

* Qualification in health and safety – NEBOSH

* Knowledge of the construction industry terminology.

* Driving licence
