Fit Out Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Freelance Site Manager to join a major Data Centre project, focusing on the commercial aspects of the build including office fit-outs, meeting spaces, welfare areas, and internal works.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities relating to the commercial and fit-out elements, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day site operations for the commercial and fit-out areas.

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to ensure smooth delivery.

*

Maintain quality control and health & safety standards.

*

Liaise with project managers, client representatives, and design teams.

*

Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and timelines.

*

Report on progress, risks, and site issues.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale projects (data centres, commercial, or high-spec fit-out).

*

Strong background in fit-out and finishing works.

*

SMSTS & CSCS

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

*

Ability to manage multiple subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.
