CAD Technician / Engineer – Civil Infrastructure – Permanent

📍 Location: Immingham (site-based)

💷 Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 DOE + Benefits

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced CAD Technician / Engineer to join a leading main contractor delivering a major civil infrastructure project.

This is a key role supporting the design and delivery of complex civil works, providing CAD support to both temporary works and construction site teams.

Role:

As CAD Technician / Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting engineering and site delivery through high-quality drawings and models. Your responsibilities will include:

Producing 2D/3D drawings and models for temporary works, logistics layouts, and survey modelling

*

Providing CAD support to site teams, engineers, and temporary works coordinators

*

Ensuring drawing updates and revisions are accurately tracked and issued

*

Liaising with design, engineering, and delivery teams to capture buildability requirements

*

Maintaining drawing registers and supporting document control processes

Requirements:

*

Experience working within a civil engineering or infrastructure environment

*

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (MicroStation or similar CAD software also suitable)

*

Experience producing drawings for temporary works or construction site activities

*

Attention to detail, strong communication, and organisational skills

*

Relevant HNC / HND / Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline
