Senior Quantity Surveyor

MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor required to work for Principal Contractor JV on High Speed Rail London Tunnels Programme.

12 Month Contract Initially – Inside IR35
Based at North Acton – Hybrid Working arrangements in place.

Senior Quantity Surveyor:
Required Experience: CEMAR, Production of BoQs, procurement experience, NEC 3 Option A & C experience, ECC Option A and C, Subcontractor Audits & Monthly reporting, Main Contractor or Subcontractor experience.
Preferable: MEP Systems experience, knowledge of the Joint Industry Board (JIB).
Understanding of MEP Systems.

Key Responsibilities
-Proficient In the administration of NEC Main & Subcontracts
-Lead and develop the efficient and effective management and issue of accurate, timely and contract compliant documentation.
-Work closely with project management and engineering teams and liaise with Employers commercial team and client team.
-Produce documentation / evidence to demonstrate KPI achievement.
-Competent in the application of IT skills to commercial management and the production of project documentation.
-Demonstrate and maintain commercial and technical knowledge and work closely with technical staff to develop appropriate techniques and solutions for the project.
-Assist with preparation of periodic progress valuations and claims for work completed.
-Produce monthly cost reports, forecasts, and contract budget reports.
-Maintain effective, accurate cost control.

Essential
-Relevant Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent relevant industry experience.
-Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
-Right to Work in the UK
