Document Controller (Temporary to Permanent)
Location: Oldham Office (with occasional travel to site)
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
We Are Footprint are recruiting on behalf of a leading national construction contractor for a Document Controller / Data Entry Assistant to join their team. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
About the Role
Based out of the Oldham office, you will be a key member of a small, supportive team, helping manage and control critical project documentation across 41 active construction sites. You will ensure that drawings and key documents are accurately processed, uploaded, and maintained within the company’s construction management system, Procore.
Reporting to:
Quality Manager / Corporate Services Manager
Main Duties
*
Process and upload incoming drawings to the Procore system
*
Ensure all documentation is accurately filed and logged
*
Print and distribute large-format drawings for site teams
*
Maintain up-to-date drawing registers in coordination with site staff
*
Upload and manage key project documents as needed
*
Provide general administrative and document control support
Key Attributes & Skills
*
Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (essential)
*
Experience with Procore (desirable; training can be provided)
*
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*
Strong communication and organisational skills
*
Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
*
Knowledge of construction terminology is an advantage
