Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Externals Manager to join a live project in Bournemouth on a contract basis. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing multiple external packages, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee key external packages including groundworks, façade, roof, and linkways (steelwork and foundations).

Ensure all works are delivered to the highest standards of Health & Safety and quality compliance.

Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to maintain programme and cost control.

Provide leadership and direction across all externals activities, ensuring works align with project specifications.

Report progress, risks, and key milestones to senior management.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Manager or Externals Manager on major construction projects.

Strong technical knowledge across groundworks, façade, and roofing disciplines.

Excellent understanding of Health & Safety regulations and site compliance.

Experience working within hospital/healthcare or modular construction environments (highly desirable).

Ability to manage subcontractors and drive performance to programme deadlines.
