About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Bid Writer (minimum 3 years’ experience) to join our Planned Maintenance and Refurbishment division. You’ll play a key role in producing high-quality, persuasive bids for frameworks and projects within the social housing and public sector.
You’ll work closely with the pre-construction and delivery teams to develop clear, engaging tender responses that showcase our technical capability, social value, and commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities

Write and coordinate PQQs, ITTs, and framework submissions for planned maintenance and refurbishment projects.

Collaborate with estimators, operations, and design teams to gather information and craft compelling responses.
*
Ensure all bids are compliant, accurate, and aligned with client requirements.
*
Maintain and update a library of bid content, case studies, and project examples.
*
Support the Bid Manager in reviewing, editing, and formatting submissions to a high standard.
About You
*
Minimum 3 years’ bid writing experience within construction, social housing, or maintenance.
*
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
*
Proven ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines.
*
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; InDesign experience beneficial.
*
Collaborative and proactive with a strong understanding of public sector procurement.
