The Role

You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a wide range of construction projects, working closely with the commercial and pre-construction teams. You’ll play a key role in helping the business secure new work, contributing to its continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for construction projects

Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate costings

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing

Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop value-engineered solutions

Support the bid and tender process from initial enquiry through to contract award

About You

Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction or civil engineering sector

Strong understanding of pricing, tendering, and procurement processes

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Proficient in estimating software and MS Office applications
