Site Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to take full responsibility for a £3 million community centre development in Farnborough. This is a standalone role, leading the day-to-day management of all on-site activities from start to completion.

The position would suit a proven Site Manager with experience delivering public, commercial or community buildings, confident in overseeing all construction phases, managing subcontractors, and ensuring works are completed to the highest safety and quality standards.

The company is a well-established regional main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering a wide range of projects across the commercial, education, community, and industrial sectors. They are known for their collaborative approach, technical capability, and long-standing client relationships throughout the South and South West.

Key Responsibilities

Take full ownership of the project delivery, reporting directly to the visiting Contracts Manager.

Manage all on-site operations, ensuring programme, quality, and H&S standards are achieved.

Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to maintain progress and smooth delivery.

*

Oversee site logistics, inductions, RAMS, and daily/weekly reporting.

*

Ensure compliance with company and client health & safety policies.

*

Liaise with design and project teams to resolve technical queries and maintain build quality.

Deliver a professional, well-managed site that reflects the company’s reputation for excellence.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager on new build community or commercial schemes.

*

Strong technical and organisational skills with a proactive management style.

*

Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.

*

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

*

Ability to deliver projects independently, ensuring quality and client satisfaction
