Senior Planner
Some projects define a career – this is one of them.
Permanent: Senior Planner Super-Prime Residential Project (£100m+)
Near Sunningdale | Start: ASAP
From start to finish!
There are nice projects… and then there are the ones you tell people about for the rest of your career (without ever being able to say too much).
We're talking about one of those rare projects that planners dream about (and QSs quietly cry over). A £100m+ super-prime residence in the South East the kind of job that makes your CV look instantly more impressive and gets a respectful nod from anyone who knows their stuff.
We can't say much (NDA territory), but let's just say this isn't your average build. It's precision, polish and perfection from start to finish every detail matters, every timeline counts, and the bar's about as high as it gets.
The role:
· You'll be steering the programme from pre-con to handover, making sure everything flows like a well-sequenced pour. You'll spot issues before they're issues, keep the team aligned, and make sure the client sees progress that looks as good as the finished product will.
Responsibilities:
· Build, maintain and refine detailed programmes that actually get followed (not just filed).
· Collaborate with PMs, consultants and subs to keep everyone singing from the same Gantt.
· Identify risks, opportunities and efficiencies.
· Turn data into insight with Asta and a touch of planning magic.
You'll need:
· 710 years' experience in planning (35 at senior level).
· Solid understanding of CPM, risk management and resource levelling.
· Degree in Construction or Project Management (or equivalent).
· A meticulous, proactive mindset and the people skills to back it up.
· This contractor has built a reputation for delivering some of the UK's most
impressive high-end residential properties and this scheme is no exception.
If you like being part of a project where good enough isn't in the
vocabulary, you'll fit right in.
Whether you call yourself a Planner, Senior Planner, Programmer or Scheduler, if you know how to bring order to chaos (and even enjoy it), this is one you'll want on your CV.
