Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 + package (dependent on experience)

About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor working on one of the UK’s most high-profile, large-scale construction projects — a next-generation battery manufacturing facility at the heart of the UK’s green industrial revolution.

As an MEP Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a vital role in managing the commercial delivery of complex mechanical and electrical packages on this landmark project. You’ll work closely with project and commercial teams to oversee procurement, tendering, contract administration, and cost management from inception through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

Manage MEP subcontractor packages from procurement through to completion.

*

Oversee tendering, valuations, variations, and commercial reporting.

*

Provide accurate cost forecasting and value management.

*

Identify and mitigate project risks while maximising project profitability.

*

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project and commercial success.

About You

*

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.

*

Proven experience delivering MEP packages on major construction or infrastructure projects.

*

Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge (NEC/JCT).

*

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

*

Experience within a main contractor environment is highly desirable.
