Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to make an impact in the social housing and planned maintenance sector We’re looking for a commercially minded professional to join a leading contractor delivering essential planned works across London and the Southeast. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stability, autonomy, and genuine career growth.
Key Responsibilities
Managing all commercial and financial aspects of planned maintenance and refurbishment projects.
Preparing and presenting accurate monthly valuations, CVRs, and cost forecasts.
Leading procurement and tendering of subcontractors and suppliers for planned works projects.
Negotiating subcontract terms and ensuring compliance with JCT contracts.
Driving cost control and value improvement, supporting delivery teams to meet financial targets.
Skills & Qualifications
Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within social housing or planned maintenance projects in London or the Southeast.
Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts (NEC/TPC desirable).
Excellent commercial awareness and confidence managing budgets, variations, and final accounts.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial software such as COINS or C-Link.
