Externals Site Manager

Project Overview

Seeking an experienced Externals Site Manager to join their team on a large-scale residential development in Brentford. The project comprises nine tower blocks and represents a significant part of Fairview’s ongoing regeneration work in the area.

The role will focus on managing all external packages, with a particular emphasis on cladding, façades, and envelope works.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate all external works on site, including cladding, façades, roofing, balconies, windows, and external finishes.

Manage and monitor subcontractors to ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

*

Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and toolbox talks.

*

Liaise with design teams, project managers, and other site staff to ensure seamless integration between internal and external works.

*

Review and manage method statements and risk assessments.

*

Track progress against programme milestones and report regularly to senior management.

*

Assist with QA documentation and snagging.

*

Drive productivity, maintain site discipline, and promote a culture of safety and quality.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as an Externals Site Manager on large residential or mixed-use schemes.

*

Strong background in cladding and façade systems (essential).

*

CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certification required.

*

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

*

Ability to lead subcontractors and maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.

*

Proactive approach to problem solving and coordination.
