About The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) to join the team. The successful candidate will manage and deliver a range of projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients to provide expert cost, procurement, and contract advice.

You will take ownership of your own projects while supporting junior team members, ensuring successful outcomes for clients through sound commercial management and strong communication.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage cost consultancy services across multiple projects from feasibility to final account.

* Prepare cost estimates, cost plans, and tender documentation.

* Administer construction contracts and manage procurement processes.

* Provide expert commercial advice to clients and project teams.

* Undertake value engineering exercises and identify cost-saving opportunities.

* Prepare detailed project reports, progress updates, and financial appraisals.

* Mentor and support junior Quantity Surveyors, promoting knowledge sharing and development.

* Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business growth.

About the Requirements

* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

* MRICS chartered status (essential).

* Proven experience working within a cost consultancy or construction consultancy environment.

* Strong technical understanding of cost management, procurement, and JCT/NEC contracts.

* Excellent communication and client-facing skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.

* Organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple projects simultaneously.

* Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
