I’m working with a small, family-run construction company based in Surrey that specialises in fire protection and cladding solutions. They’re looking to recruit a Graduate or Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in quantity surveying. The company will provide full training and hands-on support, making it ideal for either a recent graduate or a school leaver with strong A-levels and the right attitude to learn.

The Role:

Assisting with estimating, tendering, and cost management across multiple projects.

*

Supporting subcontractor procurement and cost reporting.

*

Helping with valuations, variations, and final account preparation.

*

Working alongside experienced QSs, project managers, and site teams.

*

Learning contract administration (JCT/NEC) and commercial processes.

The Candidate:

*

Degree in Quantity Surveying or strong A-levels with a genuine interest in construction.

*

Numerically minded, organised, and keen to learn.

*

Good communicator who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.

*

Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
