Planner

Planner, Isle of Grain (Kent). Bekk R Solutions are working alongside a national MEP contractor looking for further planning support with the addition of a P6 Planner onsite on the Isle of Grain. You will be joining a progressive MEP contractor overseeing various high value / complex building services packages utilising primavera P6.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Planner to join our team based out of our London & Southeast office.

The successful candidate can be based on our project in Kent and ideally will have MEP/building services experience and be proficient in P6.

Key deliverables in this role are:

* Demonstrate appropriate health and safety leadership to ensure the safety first and foremost message is visible and alive throughout all activities.

* Ensure that all planning related activities are carried out in compliance with contractual obligations, internal processes and external legislation governing business operations

* Arrange and facilitate integrated planning meetings, engaging with all relevant stakeholders to develop and agree the plan

* Participate within bid activities as required

* Work closely with relevant project personnel and external customer in order to produce/ agree a contract baseline programme for each allocated project

* Maintain and update contract baseline in line with any agreed contract changes, ensuring changes are communicated to all stakeholders

* Ensure that progress and productivity is effectively monitored against project plan, produce clear reports for all stakeholders

* Ensure that planning outputs/reports are produced for contract reviews. Support the operational teams in order to ascertain whether project targets are being achieved and jointly establish and agree any corrective measures where necessary.

* Perform time/risk analysis against programmes at regular intervals with the planning manager/senior planner, and the project manager.

What you’ll need to succeed,

* Considerable experience in a planning role on medium to large construction projects. For senior planner level, we would be looking for someone with experience of MEP / Building Services projects.

* Construction site experience

* Primavera proficient (P6)

* A relevant industry or professional qualification/apprenticeship ideally progressing from an early career within mechanical / electrical engineering
