About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Project Co-ordinator & Compliance professional to join our growing construction team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organisation, collaboration, and process improvement – supporting major projects through every stage from tender to delivery.

You’ll work closely with Project Directors, Managers, and the wider delivery team to ensure compliance, documentation, and coordination run seamlessly. With several exciting new projects underway – including schemes requiring BREEAM accreditations, planning applications, and Considerate Constructor compliance – this role will play a key part in maintaining our reputation for quality, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Project Co-ordination

*

Support Project Directors and Managers in understanding project requirements and ensuring timely procurement of deliverables.

*

Act as the main point of contact for client compliance queries, liaising with external auditors and arranging inspections.

*

Assist in preparing and issuing purchase orders under senior guidance.

*

Support the preparation of project reports, progress updates, and communication documents.

*

Help deliver on sustainability and environmental objectives (e.g. BREEAM, Fitwell), ensuring project alignment with targets.

*

Assist in implementing and maintaining project software such as 1Breadcrumb and Procure.

PQQ & Tender Support

*

Contribute to the preparation of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and tenders, ensuring all compliance and supporting documents are included.

*

Provide compliance input during tender reviews to ensure submissions meet business and client expectations.

Supplier & Compliance Management

*

Maintain and update the approved supplier database, tracking supplier performance and reporting findings to project teams.

*

Support the maintenance of company accreditations including SafeContractor, Acclaim SSIP, Constructionline, and ISO 9001 & 14001 (with the Office Manager).

*

Ensure all documentation, procedures, and policies are version-controlled and up-to-date within company systems.

Continuous Improvement

*

Support in managing the non-conformance process, ensuring all issues are logged, investigated, and resolved to promote continuous improvement.

*

Assist in preparing compliance performance reports and identifying areas for improvement or potential risks.

*

Keep up to date with industry legislation and best practice in construction compliance and sustainability.

Person Specification

*

Must have industry experience within construction or engineering.

*

Strong understanding of H&S documentation, Construction Phase Plans, and document control processes.

*

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

*

Confident communicator who can liaise effectively across teams, clients, and external bodies.

*

A true team player, adaptable and capable of managing multiple priorities.

*

IT-literate, with previous experience using project and document management software.
