Commercial Manager

A leading European contractor, renowned for delivering large-scale, technically complex construction projects, is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join its team on a major data centre development in Frankfurt.

This is a key role within a high-performing commercial team, offering the opportunity to work on one of the most significant mission-critical projects in the region. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in quantity surveying or commercial management, particularly within the MEP, data centre, or large-scale industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of the project lifecycle.

Manage project cost reporting, forecasting, and budget control.

*

Administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

*

Lead valuations, change management, and final accounts.

*

Support procurement strategies and subcontractor negotiation.

*

Ensure timely reporting and escalation of commercial risks and opportunities.

*

Work closely with project management and delivery teams to drive commercial performance.

*

Represent the company in client meetings and commercial discussions.

Requirements:

*

EU passport – essential due to mobility and compliance requirements.

*

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.

*

7+ years’ commercial experience, ideally on large-scale MEP or mission-critical projects.

*

Strong contractual knowledge (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, or similar).

*

Excellent cost management, reporting, and negotiation skills.

*

Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
