Assistant Project Manager
A leading multi-sector consultancy based in central Manchester is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Project Manager to join their growing North West team. This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager looking to gain practical experience across residential, healthcare, and mixed-use developments.
Working closely with Senior Project Managers, the successful Assistant Project Manager will support on all aspects of project delivery, from feasibility to handover. This consultancy places a strong emphasis on training and offers a clear route to progress towards chartership.
The Assistant Project Manager's role
The Assistant Project Manager will assist in the day-to-day management of live projects, including progress reporting, risk management, and budget monitoring. The role also involves preparing tender documents, attending site meetings, and helping to coordinate design teams.
This is a hands-on role ideal for an Assistant Project Manager eager to develop their consultancy knowledge, take on more responsibility, and build long-term client relationships.
The Assistant Project Manager
Degree qualified in a construction or property-related subject
1-2 years' experience within a consultancy or client-side role
Working towards APM, RICS or CIOB chartership
Confident communicator with a proactive attitude
Good understanding of Microsoft Project or similar tools
