M&E Quantity Surveyor

Anderselite are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Tier 1 Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering high-value, complex projects across commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and residential sectors.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a pivotal role in the successful commercial delivery of M&E packages from tender through to final account. Working closely with project teams, clients, and supply chain partners, you will ensure cost control, accurate forecasting, and value-driven outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all commercial aspects of M&E packages, including valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Prepare and negotiate subcontractor and supplier packages.
Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and financial performance.
Provide accurate cost reporting and forecasting to senior management.
Work collaboratively with design, engineering, and project management teams to ensure cost efficiency.
Support in the preparation of tenders and cost plans for upcoming opportunities.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong background iworking for either a tier 1 or tier 2 M&E contractor and a proactive approach to commercial management.

Essential Requirements:

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
Proven experience in mechanical and electrical building services projects.
Excellent understanding of construction contracts (NEC, JCT).
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant QS software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
