Project: New Build Residential High-Rise Development (750 Units – Phase 1: 312, Phase 2: 188)
Salary: £95,000 – £100,000 + Package

Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Lead to join a leading contractor on a major high-rise residential development in Birmingham. The project, comprising 750 new build units across two phases, is currently progressing through the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) process.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all commercial and financial aspects of the project from inception to completion.

*

Lead the commercial team, ensuring effective cost control, procurement, and contract administration.

*

Manage budgets, forecasts, valuations, and subcontractor accounts.

*

Provide strategic input during the BSR process and throughout both project phases.

*

Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

*

Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety, and relevant regulations.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Commercial Lead, Senior Quantity Surveyor, or Commercial Manager on large-scale residential or high-rise projects.

*

Strong knowledge of JCT/Design & Build contracts and commercial best practices.

*

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

*

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (or equivalent).

Competitive salary of £95,000 – £100,000, plus full benefits package.
