Job Title: Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor

Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 + Excellent Package

Overview:
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Main Contractor on a major civils and groundworks project valued at £100 million, covering a 1,000-acre site. The project includes river diversions, roads, highways, and footbridge construction, offering exposure to large-scale, complex infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all commercial and cost control aspects of the project.

Conduct measurement, assessment, and valuation of works.

*

Prepare and manage subcontractor packages, variations, and final accounts.

*

Provide accurate forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to support project delivery.

*

Work closely with the site and engineering teams to ensure commercial efficiency and contractual compliance.

*

Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers.

Requirements:

Proven experience working for a Main Contractor within civils or groundworks projects.

*

Strong knowledge of cost management, measurement, and contract administration.

*

Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

*

Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (HNC/HND/Degree).
