Freelance Site Manager – Finishes (Warehouse Fit Out)

Rate: £270 – £310 

Contract Type: Freelance

We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the finishes on a high-quality warehouse fit out project. You’ll take full responsibility for the final stages of the build, ensuring a smooth handover, impeccable standards, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all internal fit out and finishing works to completion

Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure quality and programme targets are met

Monitor progress against schedule, flagging and resolving any delays

Ensure health & safety compliance across site at all times

Conduct snagging inspections and manage close-out process

Liaise with the client and project team to ensure satisfaction and expectations are met

Requirements:

Proven track record managing finishes on industrial or commercial fit out projects

SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold card preferred), and First Aid certificates

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Ability to drive quality across all finishing trades (drylining, flooring, joinery, decoration, etc.)

Own transport and right to work in the UK
