Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for your next challenge? We are working with a nationally recognised, award-winning housebuilding team who are delivering high-quality residential developments across West Yorkshire. They are looking for a hands-on, driven Site Manager to take ownership of sites above 100 units, lead a talented on-site team, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the site, ensuring targets are met across health & safety, build programme, quality, customer care, and cost. You will lead, organise, and motivate your on-site team to deliver efficiently while maintaining high standards and excellent site presentation.

Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring site compliance with health & safety standards, NHBC requirements, Building Regulations, and company quality standards.

Coordinating labour and resources to meet the build programme efficiently.

Managing materials on site to optimise stock levels and labour utilisation.

Delivering plots to the highest quality, complying with NHBC Standards, Building Regulations, specifications, and best practice.

Conducting quality inspections, rectifying defects, and controlling production costs.

Liaising with internal departments, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth delivery of homes.

Conducting new home tours with customers, resolving issues prior to legal completion.

Supporting and developing the on-site team through guidance, training, and effective planning.

Leading by example in all aspects of health & safety, organisation, conduct, quality, and professionalism.

Candidate Requirements:

Extensive experience managing housebuilding sites of 100 units or more, delivering to established build programmes.

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and organise effectively.

Excellent communication skills, able to explain details and ensure compliance.

Chartered Institute of Builders membership and/or NVQ Level 5 in Construction Management, or a time-served tradesman with substantial site experience.

Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, housebuilding standards, H&S legislation, NHBC requirements, and Building Regulations.

Experience in customer-facing activities on site, including resolving queries and delivering excellent service.
