Role: Estimator

Location: West Midlands

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Duties:

Support the generation of profitable tenders for authorization and submission
To estimate the costs of projects to meet or exceed customers' requirements
To determine contractual, financial, technical and operational risks
Find opportunities to minimize risk and maximize gross profit
To support the fulfilment of the pipeline of contracts safely, on time, and to the required quality while maximizing gross profit

For the role, they are looking for:

Experience working for a regional / national contractor as the Estimator
Be contractually astute
Have a sound knowledge and be experienced in payment terms, payment notices, contract protocol and matters associated with delays and extensions of time
Be skilled in subcontract procurement and understand the importance of this process
Have a very strong teamwork ethos
