Maintenance Technician

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Reading to join as a Maintenance Technician on a temporary basis and to start as soon as possible.

Location: Reading
Working Hours: 7AM – 3PM & 9AM – 6PM (alternating shifts)
Job Type: Temporary position, 4-6 weeks initially with the potential to extend
Salary: Up to £14.55 per hour As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

Cleaning, basic plumbing, replacing light bulbs, basic carpentry, painting / decorating, ground maintenance, escorting contractors on site, pool maintenance.
Ensuring gates and buildings are locked / unlocked at the start and end of the day.
Set alarm systems and respond to emergency call outs.
Conducting building checks.
Maintaining general presentation of the grounds.

Experience in a similar position.
Plumbing, carpentry, and decorating skills.
Manual handling.
Good planning and organisational skills.
