This well-established construction group operates across multiple divisions, including traditional masonry, façades, and manufacturing, with a turnover exceeding £45M. In this role, you'll take ownership of key estimating duties, including measurement from drawings, preparing bills of quantities, pricing works, and liaising with suppliers and clients throughout the tender process. You'll work closely with the wider commercial and pre-construction team, supporting projects from early feasibility through to contract award.
The ideal candidate will have a background in estimating or quantity surveying, with the ability to measure confidently from drawings and price projects independently.

The Role:
Measure and prepare bills of quantities from drawings
Price and prepare lump sum tenders for brickwork and building projects
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
Support the pre-construction and commercial teams through tender stages
Attend client and mid-tender meetings as required
Hybrid working with flexible start and finish times
The Person:
Experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor in construction
Confident measuring and producing take-offs from drawings
Proficient with Bluebeam, Excel, or similar software
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Based within commutable distance of Derby
