SITE MANAGER | MAIN CONTRACTOR | HERTFORDSHIRE-BASED PROJECTS
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 + Package

We’re working with a well-established main contractor looking for a strong Site Manager to run projects from the ground up. These are fast-paced, well-structured builds for reputable clients — all within the public sector.

You’ll be No.1 on site and responsible for day-to-day operations, quality, health & safety, subcontractor management, and keeping the programme on track.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Managing day-to-day site operations from start through to handover

*

Overseeing subcontractors and site labour

*

Keeping projects to programme and within budget

*

Ensuring health & safety and quality standards are met

*

Liaising with clients, consultants, and your contracts manager

What We’re Looking For:

*

Previous experience running sites as No.1 Site Manager

*

Background in main contracting – ideally on £1m–£5m schemes

*

Strong knowledge of new build and refurbishment

*

SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid essential

*

Someone local to Herts or happy to travel across the region
