Your new role
As a Junior Contracts Manager, you will be an integral part of the project management team, responsible for overseeing multiple projects ranging in value from £50k to £2 million. This role is perfect for someone ready to take the next step in their career or someone with previous experience in contract management. Your duties will include assisting in the planning, execution, and management of construction projects, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project milestones are met.
You will also monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery, conduct site inspections, ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, and prepare and maintain project documentation and reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you should have relevant experience in contract management, preferably within the construction industry. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
You must have proactive problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail. Relevant certifications and tickets, such as CSCS, SMSTS, SSSTS, or CSR, are required. A passion for delivering high-quality projects and a commitment to professional growth will be key to your success in this role.
