About the role:
Mitie Landscapes is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Operations Manager to lead and develop our Yorkshire Water Contract. As part of the UK’s leading FM company, you will oversee day-to-day operations in Grounds Maintenance and projects within this contract.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional results every day.
- Drive efficiency and resource utilisation to maximise operational and financial performance.
- Manage and develop a professional and effective operational team.
- Ensure the highest standards in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE).
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and people management skills.
What we are looking for:
- An ambitious and motivated senior manager with experience in the horticultural/landscaping industry.
- Proven management experience and financial acumen.
- Strong understanding of operational IT systems.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality systems.
- Ability to represent Mitie effectively in internal and external meetings.
- A leader who motivates and manages teams effectively.
- Commitment to personal and professional development.
