Site Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the installation of high bay racking systems on a busy industrial site in Dartford. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily site activities, ensuring health and safety compliance, coordinating installation teams, and maintaining project delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate racking installation teams and subcontractors.

*

Ensure all works are carried out safely, on time, and to specification.

*

Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks.

*

Manage site documentation including RAMS, permits, and progress reports.

*

Liaise with the client, project manager, and other stakeholders.

*

Maintain a tidy, safe, and compliant working environment.

*

Monitor quality assurance throughout all installation phases.

Requirements

*

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – Essential

*

First Aid at Work – Essential

*

CSCS Gold or Black Card – Essential

*

Proven experience managing high bay racking installations – Preferred

*

Strong knowledge of site safety procedures and racking regulations.

*

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

*

Ability to manage multiple teams and maintain accurate site records
