The Opportunity

A growing construction subcontractor needs a hands-on Health & Safety Advisor to support live projects across the West Midlands. You'll be the go-to person for site teams, working across multiple projects with real variety and genuine influence.

This isn't a paperwork role. You'll be on-site, visible, and making a tangible difference to how safety is delivered day-to-day.

What You'll Be Doing

* Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across multiple live projects

* Support site teams and subcontractors with practical H&S guidance

* Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and training that actually lands

* Drive compliance with UK legislation, company policies, and industry standards

* Lead H&S initiatives and continuous improvement across the business

* Build strong relationships with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors

What You'll Need

* Proven experience as a Health & Safety Advisor in construction

* NEBOSH Construction Certificate or working experience in a site based H&S position

* A current base in the West Midlands

* Strong communication skills and the ability to influence without authority

* Proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving

* Full UK driving licence and happy to travel between sites
