Freelance Package Quantity Surveyor
 
Site based role, immediate start available.  
 
Project location – London West End
 
Construction phase is currently running until March 2026 but requirements may go longer based on site conditions)
 
General Parameters for candidates would be
 
Must be comfortable working in a team at a Package QS level on a medium sized Construction Management Project (approx. value £20m)
 
Reporting to the commercial lead, they will be in a team of three (Construction lead and one other package QS) to deliver the existing project.
 
Fit out and refurb experience preferred.
 
Experience delivering high end finishes preferred but not essential.
 
JCT Traditional contract/CM experience preferred but not essential.
 
Managing Trade Contract Packages already procured, and potentially procuring smaller works packages throughout the project.
 
Ongoing assessment Trade Contractor, variations and payments.
 
Agreeing Final Accounts with Trade Contractors and getting sign off from the Client's management team.
 
Working collaboratively with the client's management team and the supply chain to recommend variations.
 
Keeping Instruction and Change logs up to date.
 
Various commercial reporting duties and holding periodic commercial meetings as required
