Site Manager

Talented Site Manager required on a permanent basis. Must have experience of very high end residential finishes.

We are working alongside a successful London based building main contractor. They have recently won several new schemes and are keen to recruit a talented Site Manager to be based on a £15m new build mansion in the Hampstead Heath area. The contractor specialises in the luxury residential market, with clients including Grosvenor Properties, The Historic Houses Association and a who’s who list of famous and wealthy clients. They cover an area around The West End and the more affluent areas of North London, carrying out projects up to £20m in value. The contractor’s business model is extremely well managed, with a reputation for producing a quality project on time and budget, which results in a large amount of repeat business.

They require a Site Manager who will be responsible for the internal finishes and to work positively and collaboratively with clients.

* To make Health, Safety and the Environment their first priority in all decisions and actions.

* The Site Manager will be expected to plan, manage and deliver all construction activities in an efficient and cost effective manner that causes least disruption.

* Demonstrate a positive ‘can do’ attitude at all times whilst understanding the impact of decisions on all aspects of the project / contract.

* To report openly and honestly at all times, acknowledging problems, analysing and providing seeking solutions.

* Be a positive team builder, care for their staff and actively engage in staff feedback and development.

* To take responsibility and ownership for the project.

Our client is looking for a Site Manager that can communicate well (good client skills), Experienced at managing subcontractors, as well as maximising and getting the best out of the site team.

* The Site Manager will have a background and be extremely competent at bringing in a project to time, quality and budget.

* The Site Manager will be capable of managing a project as a number 2.

* Experience of very high end finishes.
