Job Title: Regional Project Manager – Retail (North Region)

Location: North UK (Field-based with regular regional travel)
Salary: £70,000 + Car Package + Benefits

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Project Manager to oversee multiple retail projects across the North region. This pivotal role will manage the successful delivery of refurbishment, fit-out, and new store development projects from inception through to completion — ensuring quality, safety, budget, and programme objectives are consistently achieved.

You’ll act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers, driving performance and ensuring alignment with brand and business standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple retail projects concurrently across the Northern region, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

Oversee all project phases — feasibility, design coordination, procurement, delivery, and handover.

Lead site progress meetings, monitor contractor performance, and ensure compliance with company H&S policies.

Collaborate closely with internal departments (property, operations, finance, and marketing) to ensure smooth project integration.

Produce detailed project reports, budgets, and risk assessments.

Drive cost efficiency and maintain strong commercial awareness throughout each project.

Ensure all works reflect brand standards and deliver an exceptional in-store experience.

Support the continuous improvement of project delivery processes and regional performance.

Skills & Experience

*

Proven track record in project management within retail, fit-out, or construction environments.

*

Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across a wide geographical area.

*

Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with a hands-on, proactive approach.

Excellent financial and commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets effectively.

*

Solid understanding of H&S and CDM regulations.

*

Professional project management qualification (e.g. APM, PRINCE2, or RICS) preferred.

*

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.
